Kessel’s show can be heard live 4-6 pm (PT) on Friday afternoons, and 10pm -12am PT on Friday nights, locally on 102.3 FM, and streaming on kmre.org. Kessel’s own website CaveHollywoodRadio.com hosts rebroadcasts that can be
listened to on demand.
Kessel also DJ’s “Jazzin With Dave The K” on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm-5:00 pmPT and Saturdays from 11pm to 1 am PT. This show covers Jazz from the Roarin’ 20’s to the very early 70’s, and is broadcast and streamed through the same station.
“I play a repertoire of Rockabilly, Surf, and the grey area of Country and R&B that becomes the culture collision known as Rock ‘n’ Roll,” describes Kessel of his radio show. “The music I play in my show is the backbone of Rock and Roll. The cultural collision comes together from all the different types of music and specific sounds that emerged after World War II, and evolved into and out of itself, into
